Flexible Therapy: Support That Fits Around You

Therapy shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all. Life is busy, messy, unpredictable – and your wellbeing support needs to work with that, not against it.

That’s where flexible therapy comes in. Whether you're juggling work, study, parenting, health challenges, or just prefer doing things your own way, flexible therapy gives you choice, comfort and control.

What is Flexible Therapy?

Flexible therapy means we work together in a way that suits your lifestyle, energy levels, and preferences. It’s all about removing the barriers that often stop people from getting support – like time, access, or how you're feeling on the day.

You can choose:

  • How we work – in person, online, walking, or even from your own sofa

  • When we meet – regular weekly slots or ad-hoc sessions when needed

  • Where you feel most comfortable – at my therapy space, out in nature, or even at your home if that helps

  • What we focus on – counselling, coaching, or a blend of both

It’s your time, your way.

Why does it matter?

Because therapy that adapts to you is more effective, accessible, and sustainable. Life isn’t static – and your support shouldn’t be either.

Flexible therapy works well if:

  • You work shifts or have unpredictable schedules

  • You’re neurodivergent and benefit from more choice and autonomy

  • You’re a parent, carer or student balancing lots of responsibilities

  • You’ve struggled to engage with traditional, clinical-feeling therapy

  • You just want a bit more freedom in how and where you do the deep work

What does it look like in practice?

One week you might fancy a Walk & Talk session in the woods. Another week, you're feeling low and want to chat from you sofa on the phone. Sometimes you want structure and coaching; other times, space and reflection. It’s all possible – and it all counts.

This is therapy that bends to fit your life, not the other way round.

You don’t have to choose between quality and flexibility

As a trained coach (CMI) and counsellor (CPCAB), I offer a blend of approaches backed by professional standards – but delivered in a human, kind, and adaptable way. Whether you’re navigating a tough patch or building long-term change, flexible therapy gives you the freedom to do it your way.
