Why I chose - Choose Your Way
"So, Hannah... Why Choose Your Way?" they asked.
"Don’t you mean Choose the Way? Or Find Your Way?"
"There’s no the way — and you don’t just stumble across it. You choose it," I replied.
"The emphasis is on YOUR way. Not mine. Not your parents’. Not your partner’s. Not Fearne Cotton’s. Not even Stephen Bartlett’s."
YOUR way. 🙌
When I was dreaming up a name for my practice, I kept circling the same words:
Autonomy. Choice. Freedom. Empowerment.
And the idea that every person deserves to feel in control of their own path.
So, Choose Your Way just… made sense.
It’s not just a name — it’s a belief that runs through everything I do.
The Heart of It: Choice Changes Everything
So many of the people I work with — whether they’re seeking therapy, coaching, or support around neurodivergence — come to me feeling stuck.
Stuck in someone else’s expectations.
Stuck in old patterns.
Stuck in systems that weren’t built with them in mind.
Choose Your Way is a gentle reminder that things can be different.
That we do have agency — even if it doesn’t always feel like it.
That healing and growth don’t come from being told what to do — they come from being supported to find your way.
What It Means In Practice
Whether I’m walking side by side with someone in a therapy session, holding space in coaching, or guiding someone through life with ADHD or dyslexia — this principle is always at play.
🛍️ I won’t tell you what to do.
I’ll help you explore your options, reconnect with your instincts, and decide what feels right for you.
🌿 I’ll create space that’s flexible, affirming and kind.
Because being yourself shouldn’t require masking, shrinking, or squeezing into someone else’s mould.
💡 I’ll bring curiosity, compassion and creativity to our work —
...and probably a bit of humour too, because life’s heavy enough.
It's Also a Note to Self
Choose Your Way isn't just something I say to clients — it's a message I need too.
As someone who’s neurodivergent, I’ve often had to carve out my own version of how things get done. Whether that’s how I run a session, structure a day, or process the world around me.
There’s power in permission.
And I believe everyone deserves to give themselves that.
So, Why Choose Your Way?
Because healing doesn’t happen through control.
It happens through connection, curiosity, and choice.
If that’s the kind of support you’re looking for — you’re in the right place.
