Frequently Asked Questions
Who is Choose Your Way for?
Adults and young people who feel different, neurodivergent, or are exploring their identity — ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or anything in that “I don’t fit the typical mould” space.
People at any stage: curious, newly diagnosed, overwhelmed, or wanting tools to make life easier.
No diagnosis needed — just a desire for support that actually fits you.
What kind of support do you offer?
A blend of counselling and coaching.
Flexible formats: online, phone, face-to-face in a quiet room, at home, or walking outdoors (walk-and-talk / nature-based).
Sessions adapt to you — sometimes structured, sometimes reflective, always person-centred.
What does a typical package look like?
We start with a 90-minute Clarity Session to explore what’s going on and what you need.
Follow-up sessions are flexible: weekly or fortnightly, 30/60/90 minutes, your choice of format.
Optional out-of-session messaging support.
Any tools or resources we use are included and usually personalised.
Can I book just one session?
Yes — one-off sessions start at £70.
Packages are available if you want more continuity or deeper work.
What does it cost and how do I pay?
Packages start from £400.
Discounts may be available for returning clients or personal recommendations.
Payment is via credit/debit card through Stripe.
Some clients can access funding (e.g., Access to Work / DSA / DLA / PIP) for certain types of support.
How do I get started?
Message or call for a no-pressure introductory chat.
If we’re a good fit, we book a Clarity Session (or split it across two shorter sessions if that’s easier).
Together we create a flexible plan that we review regularly.
Do I need a diagnosis?
Not at all. Many clients don’t have one — you’re welcome either way.
What happens in a session?
Warm, friendly, collaborative space — never clinical or cold.
You can stim, move, use silence, cry, doodle… however you function best.
A mix of emotional support and practical tools, shaped around your needs.
How long until I notice any benefit?
It varies. Some people feel shifts quickly; for others it’s a slower, reflective process.
What you will get is a consistent, supportive space where you can move at your own pace.
Do you have experience with neurodivergence?
Yes — both personally and professionally.
My approach is neuroaffirming and centred around difference, autonomy and authenticity.
What if I’m nervous about starting?
Totally normal. That’s why the free chat exists — to help you get a feel for things.
And remember: everything we do is flexible. If something doesn’t feel right, we adjust it.
